Cambrian College (and/or “Owner”) is seeking Proposals from CNC machine suppliers or manufacturers (“Bidder”) capable of supplying, delivering, training and warranting/servicing one (1) 5 Axis CNC Machine (“Equipment”) at Cambrian College, 1400 Barrydowne Road, Sudbury, Ontario, as per specifications within this RFP Document.
The 5 axis CNC will be considered a showcase piece for the Cambrian Applied Research department’s capability in mechanical design and execution. The Equipment will have a comprehensive range of options that provides a solution for every application in Applied Research. Versatility is the key for optimal configurations in prototype development. Key attributes should include large door openings and quick and easy set ups. Precision milling is key with a multi-sensor compensation.
