Description

The College is seeking proposals from licensed certified public accountant firms (Firm) to provide the following services:

Audit of annual financial statements of the College in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
Audit of the College’s pension fund financial statements.
Attendance at two meetings of the Finance Committee and 1 meeting of Council.
Non-auditing professional advice in areas such as tax, governance and risk management matters.

The audit has the following constraints:

Audit reports on both sets of financial statements to be ready for acceptance by the Finance Committee in April each year, following the fiscal year end. Any auditor/client conference and/or management letter to be completed by the end of March of each year.
Audit to include an assessment and recommendation to management of any changes to and/or proposed changes to the current reporting requirements for both the College and its pension fund.

The proposals are intended to select a Firm and fix the audit fees for the next three (3) financial years.
