Description

Collège Boréal is requesting proposals from Suppliers of natural gas and electricity that have a minimum of five (5) years of operational experience as a supplier of natural gas and/or electricity, within the province of Ontario, according to the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal document.

It is the intent of Collège Boréal to establish non-exclusive agreements (maximum two per commodity) with the selected firms for the purpose of acquiring the College’s supply requirements for natural gas and electricity. Suppliers can bid on one or the other or both of the commodities.

Additional Bidding Instructions

To be eligible for consideration, the Bidder’s proposal must be uploaded by the closing date and time stated in this document (the “Closing Time”). All responses must be submitted using the Merx Electronic Bid Proposal (“EBS”). Bidders are urged to contact Merx customer support (www.merx.ca), 1-800-964-6379 in advance of submitting a response to ensure they are registered with Merx and are familiar with the EBS requirements and procedures.

The Bidder’s response must be accepted by the MERX Electronic Bid Proposal no later than the date and time noted above as Closing Time. Proposals submitted later than the official closing time will be rejected by the MERX EBS and by the college. Logging onto the MERX site prior to closing is not recognized as submitting the bid prior to the close time. Proposal download must start prior to the closing time.

Proposals shall be irrevocable for any reason for a period of not less than ninety (90) calendar days following the closing date.
