Description

Collège Boréal is a Francophone College of Applied Arts and Technology serving Northern and Central Southwestern Ontario, with its main campus located in Sudbury, Ontario. College Boreal is out to market in search of a general contractor to complete the the indigenous project at the Sudbury campus. This project is comprised of the renovation of an existing classroom space transformed into office/living/gathering space and the addition of a new exterior construction sacred pavilion.

The project includes the following but not limited to:

Exterior
- Construct a new pavilion attached to the existing building.
  - Some exterior site work will be required.
  - The new pavilion’s interior spaces is divided into 4 spaces, interior entrance, interior access storage room, exterior access storage room and the main ceremonial space.
Interior

Single existing classroom renovation consisting of :
- replacing the flooring.
- painting the walls.
- adding walls to create a meeting room.
- adding new millwork.
- adding a dividing wall to isolate 4 workstations (station provided by owner)
Add a new exterior wall penetration and doors.

The project is slated for the award on November 10, 2023 and be completed as soon as possible to be completed in 2024. Funding for the project has been approved.
