CB23-06 - New Indigenous Building – Project 23014

Collège Boréal is a Francophone College of Applied Arts and Technology serving Northern and Central Southwestern Ontario, with its main campus located in Sudbury, Ontario. College Boreal is out to market in search of a general contractor to complete the the indigenous project at the Sudbury campus. This project is comprised of the renovation of an existing classroom space transformed into office/living/gathering space and the addition of a new exterior construction sacred pavilion.

The project includes the following but not limited to:

• Exterior
  • Construct a new pavilion attached to the existing building.
    • Some exterior site work will be required.
    • The new pavilion’s interior spaces is divided into 4 spaces, interior entrance, interior access storage room, exterior access storage room and the main ceremonial space.
• Interior

• Single existing classroom renovation consisting of :
  • replacing the flooring.
  • painting the walls.
  • adding walls to create a meeting room.
  • adding new millwork.
  • adding a dividing wall to isolate 4 workstations (station provided by owner)
• Add a new exterior wall penetration and doors.
