Description

The scope of work involves in situ disposal (ISD) of WR-1 reactor and contractors are required to demolish all above-grade components, demolition of the below-grade structure surrounding the portion to remain in situ, placing select components within the existing below-grade structure, filling the in situ envelope with cementitious grout and construction of a reinforced concrete cap and engineered soil cover on top.
