Description

It is the intent of the Bid call to obtain formal Bids from the Bidders receiving Bid Documents to perform work consisting of the construction of a forty-seven (47) unit four-storey wood frame building on a single level of underground parking accessed by a ramp off of Kokanee Avenue. The building includes:

Thirty-six (36) one-bedroom units sized for mobility impairment or for two person occupancy;
Six (6) two-bedroom units for two-person households where one person may be ill or disabled; and
Five (5) studio units to house adults with physical and/or mental health disabilities at risk of homelessness.
Scooter parking and bicycle storage is also included in the project basement.

The building will feature a number of amenities for residents, including a amenity room with residential kitchen; common laundry facilities in sun-room lounges, as well as space for individual laundry appliances roughed in for each apartment; and a terrace in the rear of the building to provide an outdoor amenity space for residents together with site improvements, for a Stipulated Price remuneration, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
