The City of Quesnel (The City), “the Owner” is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced individual or firm to provide services as the Owner’s Representative. The Owner’s Representative will assist the City before, after, and during construction of the Public Works Facility Project. The project would consist of 2880 m² of buildings on a 2.9 hectare site which includes a mechanical shop, stores, administration, lunch room, utilities area, carpentry shop as well as vehicle bays/covered storage, fuel system and parking lot lighting. The Owners have retained the services of A-49 Architecture as Prime Consultant. The Owners anticipate that the project will be tendered Contract in early 2019 with the goal of awarding a contract to a General Contractor prior to the start of construction in 2019, with the project completed by 2020. The overall total project budget is $10.4 million.
