Sealed Tenders, on forms supplied by the City of Pembroke, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 p.m. local time, Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time.
The general scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: scarifying and overlaying of the existing concrete deck, new waterproofing and paving over structure, repairs on existing concrete sidewalks over bridge deck, replacement of bearings, repairs on pre-stressed girders, replacement of existing bridge railing, replacement of expansion joint assemblies, reconstruction of bridge deck ends and approach slab ends, replacement of approach guiderail, replacement of approach sidewalk and curb and gutter, replacement of approach asphalt, rock protection on embankments and installation of temporary barn swallow habitat structure.
Complete Tender documents will be available on Wednesday, March 08, 2017 from HP Engineering Inc. at the address noted below. Hard copies of the documents will be provided upon payment of a non-refundable cost of $60.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to HP Engineering Inc. An electronic .pdf version is available upon request, free of charge, and will be sent via email.
A certified cheque, bank draft or bid bond not less than the amount specified in the Tender document must accompany each Tender and the successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and 50% Materials and Labour Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract agreement.
The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
