Supply and Deliver Twenty (20) Layer 2 Network Switches
Requirement
The City of Ottawa’s Transportation Services Department has a requirement for twenty (20) Layer 2 Network Switches in accordance with the specifications outlined in Schedule “B” - Specifications. The City is soliciting quotes from suppliers for the provision of these network switches.
Inquiries
All inquiries regarding this RFQ are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified herein. Inquiries must be received in writing not later than 4:00 PM local time (EST) Friday, 19 May 2017. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry no later than 4:00 PM local time (EST) Wednesday, May 24, 2017. The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after this time period has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum.
Testing
Prior to award of contract the lowest responsive bidder, at its sole expense, must provide the City with one (1) Layer 2 Network Switch for testing in order to verify the product provided meets the minimum requirements under Schedule “B” Specifications. Testing will be arranged with the Transportation Services Department and will take place after the closing date of this RFQ.
Closing Date
Quotations must be submitted no later than 3:00:00 PM local time (EST) on Wednesday, 31 May 2017.
Bid Submission
Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the MERX online system to the Contracting Authority noted below. Any inquiries prior to the Closing Date shall be directed to the Contracting Authority only.
