Requirement
The City of Ottawa, Transportation Services (the “City”) has a requirement for the Disposal of Scrap Metal on an as and when requested basis from various OC Transpo locations, in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
Bid Distribution
The Contracting Authority is the official and sole distributor of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) and any issued addenda. Physical submission is also the official and sole bid submission platform. This RFQ document will be distributed directly to prospective bidders upon email / written request made to the Contracting Authority christopher.malloy@ottawa.ca.
Closing Date
Quotations must be submitted no later than 4:30 P.M. local time on Thursday, 23 January 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Quotations submitted by email or facsimile will not be accepted.
Inquiries
All inquiries regarding this RFQ are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified herein. Inquiries must be received in writing no later than Wednesday, 15 January 2020. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry. The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after this time period has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum.
Bid Submissions
Bidders must submit quotations to the address and to the attention of the Contracting Authority noted below. Any inquiries prior to the Closing Date shall be directed to the Contracting Authority in writing only.
