Description

REQUIREMENT
Forestry Services of the City of Ottawa (the City) has a requirement for the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials for the removal of uprooted tree stumps in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of RFT No. 15222-96888-T01.

Work shall include, but is not limited to:

acquiring and maintaining current utility locates for each site in advance of any work;
taking photos of each site pre and post stump removal.
excavation, pulling, grinding, or cutting of stump and connected roots;
placement and protection of excavated stump and connected roots (earth removed) on the ROW adjacent to roadway where they will be picked up and disposed of by City forces.
removal of surface roots from same stump;
complete site reinstatement
disposal of all other material excluding the main stump and attached roots.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The period of contract shall commence on the date of issuance of a purchase order and shall end on 31 July 2023 at the latest. Any work not completed before winter 2022/2023 shall be completed in the spring/summer of 2023.
