INFORMATION MEETING
A Bidders Information Meeting will be held: Friday, February 18, 2022 (subject to weather) Time: 10:00 am Address: SW Transitway U/P Queensway/Hwy 417 (see map of meeting area)
The following will be in attendance to discuss this project:
• City of Ottawa personnel
• City’s design consultant – WSP Canada Inc.
The Meeting will include a walking tour of the site. Please ensure that all attendees wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Covid-19 protective measures as per Ottawa Public Health guidelines including hard toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest. Also ensure that all attendees are dressed appropriately for the weather. Email Julie-Ann Williams at JulieAnn.Williams@ottawa.ca 48 hours in advance of the meeting with the names and email addresses of the people that wish to attend the site meeting. There will be no confined space access during this bidders information meeting.
The Bidder’s Information Meeting is intended to provide a clearer understanding of the scope of work and working restrictions. At this Bidder’s Information Meeting no statement, consent, waiver, acceptance, approval or anything else said or done in the meeting shall amend or waive any provision of the Tender or be binding on the City or be relied upon in any way by Bidder(s) or their advisors except when and only to the extent expressly confirmed in a written Addendum to the Tender. The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received unless that response or interpretation is provided by way of an Addendum. Failure of Contractors to attend the Bidder’s Information Meeting may result in rejection of the Tender by the Owner.
