Requirement

The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions to provide professional engineering services to carry out the replacement of the Motor Control Center (MCC)-3M, High Lift Electrical (HLE) Motors 1 and 2, and their associated infrastructure at the Lemieux Island Water Production Plant (WPP) as described in the Terms of Reference, attached hereto as Annex “A”.

Proposed Schedule of Events

The following dates could be subject to change at the City’s sole and absolute discretion:

RFQ Release Date: Friday, 06 May 2022
Deadline to submit questions to RFQ: Friday, 13 May 2022
Last day for issuance of Addenda: Friday, 20 May 2022
RFQ Closing Date: Tuesday, 31 May 2022 – 3:00 pm

Inquiries and Addenda

All inquiries and questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted online through www.merx.com, no later than the date outlined in Article 1.12 – Proposed Schedule of Events. The Administrative Authority will provide answers to inquiries to all respondents by written addenda throughout the question and answer period without naming the source of the inquiry. The final addendum will be released no later than the date outlined in Article 1.12 – Proposed Schedule of Events. It is the responsibility of the Proponents to confirm that the Administrative Authority has received their inquiries. Should the MERX system not accept the inquiry, respondents may contact the Administrative Authority by email. Respondents should include the solicitation number in the subject line.
