Requirement
The Fleet Services Department of the City of Ottawa (the “City”) requires an eighteen (18) month lease of twenty-two (22) dual stream waste collection vehicles, to be delivered in fully operational condition and ready for immediate intended use, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and Specifications of this Request for Tender.
Tender Closing Date
All tender submissions must be received electronically through the MERX online system no later than 3:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, 25 February 2021. Late tender submissions will not be accepted. Tenders submitted physically, by email, or by facsimile will not be accepted.
Basis of Award
The City intends to award a contract on the basis of Lowest Responsive Bid Per Line Item in Price Schedule “A”, or the Lowest Responsive Bid Per Total Price Schedule “A” (HST excluded), provided the Lowest Responsive Bid Per Total Price Schedule award does not exceed the total price of the Lowest Responsive Bid Per Line Item awards by more than 10 percent, minus any prompt payment discount offered.
Award is subject to best delivery date, the City’s preferred delivery date is 01 December 2021.
