Requirement

The City of Ottawa, Ottawa Paramedic Service (the “City”) is seeking information from qualified suppliers with expertise and experience in development, installation and maintaining specialized software to facilitate special events planning. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to:

Request propose solutions from qualified suppliers interested in providing specialized software to facilitate special events planning, as specified herein;
Request information from the supplier community in order to refine the requirements, scope of work, work processes and specifications for inclusion in a future procurement project;
To provide the supplier community with an opportunity to review the draft requirements, scope of work, work processes, and specifications, and to provide comments thereon; and
To seek Supplier Information Sessions with organizations with the ability to provide solutions for the work contemplated in this RFI.

Availability of this Request for Information

The official copy of RFI and any Addenda issued pertaining to it RFI will ONLY be available from the Administrative Authority via emailed request to christopher.malloy@ottawa.ca. The City relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.

Submission Instructions

Submissions or written responses to this RFI shall be received by City by no later than 3:00 PM (local time) on Wednesday, January 19th 2022. Submissions received after the above due date and time may not be considered. The City will assess the submissions of all Respondents and as noted previously and reserves the right to consider the content of these submissions should it decide to proceed to develop materials for a future procurement process. All information provided by Respondents, through written submissions or other means, shall become the property of City of Ottawa and shall not be returned.

Inquiries

All inquiries regarding this RFI are to be directed to the Administrative Authority specified herein. Inquiries should be received in writing (e-mail) no later than Wednesday, January 11th 2021. All inquiries received, and the answers as provided by the Project Authority will be provided to all Respondents by way of written addenda without naming the source of the inquiry. Addenda may be issued throughout the period of the RFI.
