RFI Objective
The City of Ottawa Department of Community and Social Services wishes to gauge the interest in the development of a mixed-use building in the Heatherington Neighbourhood.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is:
• To determine if there are interested and qualified parties, with the resources required to undertake the development of a mixed-use affordable housing and community hub building, on a portion of the City-owned site at 1770 Heatherington Road.
The City is seeking: 
- A not-for-profit housing provider who will own and operate the residential component of the building, and;
- A not-for-profit, community serving organization to lease the non-residential portions of the ground floor and provide services to the community.

　
1.7 Availability of this Request for Information
The official copy of the RFI and any Addenda issued pertaining to this RFI will be available by download from MERX.com. A copy may also be obtained from the Administrative Authority via emailed request to Selma.Hassan@ottawa.ca. If a Respondent obtains this document by means other than through MERX.com or the Administrative Authority, the accuracy of the document and receipt of any addenda is the sole responsibility of the Respondent.
