2016-117 - Merrick and Marsh Dr. Landfill Sites Annual Monitoring Reports

The City of North Bay requires the Services of a qualified Consultant to analyze all annual environmental and waste management data for the former Marsh Drive Landfill Site and the Merrick Landfill Site to determine if landfills owned and maintained by the City are in compliance with environmental compliance approvals and/or any other applicable legislation and to review operations to make recommendations that are in the City's best interests.
 
Annual reports will consider and respond to any comments made by the province concerning the review of the previous year's annual report or any comments or concerns that may be made in the year of the annual report from any inspection or audit made by the province.
 
The Consultant will supply all labour and materials necessary to prepare annual reports for the Merrick Landfill Site and for the former Marsh Drive Landfill Site for a period of three (3) years. Reports will be prepared for the monitoring years 2016 to 2018. Each site requires an individual report for each year (six reports in total). Surface and ground water monitoring reports must satisfy reporting requirement as listed under Provisional Certificate of Approval #A530116 (as amended) and #8129-9UGNU7 in the case of the Merrick Landfill Site and Provisional Certificate of Approval #A530101 (as amended) in the case of the former Marsh Drive Landfill Site.
