The scope of this RFP is to award a contract to a qualified Proponent deemed responsive and responsible through our open and competitive proposal process. Proponents will be awarded contracts based on the proposal and any clarifications deemed necessary by after the RFP close to responders that demonstrated ability to meet the expectations of the RFP and demonstrate the overall best value solutions which meet and/or exceed the current and future needs and requirements of CBI Health LP and its Members within the scope of the fire protection and life safety RFP.
The goods and services required for this RFP are as follows:
Fire Safety: Extinguishers
Supply (when required) standard issued fire extinguishers for all CBI Health locations where property management does not provide this existing service.
• Annual inspections, maintenance, recharge, and repair of fire extinguishers for all existing makes and models within CBI Health’s network.
• High and low-pressure hydrostatic testing.
• As needed, provide recommendations regarding modifications, additions, or removals of fire extinguishers, to always ensure code compliance.
• Provide written reports after each visit.
• On-site service.
• Means to report and track scheduling of visits to ensure proper system maintenance.
Fire Safety: Fire Protection Systems
• Annual inspections, maintenance, repair, recharge, and upgrading of foam systems, pull stations, crash bar alarm systems, clean agent systems, kitchen systems, CO2 systems.
• On-site service.
• Provide written reports after each visit.
• Means to report and track scheduling of visits to ensure proper system maintenance.
Exit and Emergency Lighting
• Supply of standard issued exit and emergency lighting to all CBI Health locations not covered by property management.
• Annual inspections and repairs.
• Regulations on test and maintaining exit and emergency lights: ensure certification with safety codes.
• Provide written reports after each visit.
• Means to report and track scheduling of visits to ensure proper system maintenance.
Additional services and goods (supplementary, not mandatory
• Any other supplementary goods or services the proponent can offer to complement the maintenance, delivery and installation of fire protection and life safety devices (ex: annual health and safety external inspections, defibrillator supply and service).
