The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation/Société Radio-Canada ("CBC/Radio-Canada") is Canada's national public broadcaster. It was created by an Act of Parliament on November 2, 1936, and is currently governed by the 1991 Broadcasting Act. CBC/Radio-Canada is accountable to the Parliament of Canada through the Minister of Canadian Heritage, to whom it submits an Annual Report and a Corporate Plan. In 2015, the Libraries and Archives Service of the CBC / Radio-Canada network launched a project to use PressReader as an online access platform for newspapers and magazines. Users can access more than 7,000 publications from 120 countries in 60 languages. It is the intent of CBC / Radio-Canada to extend the agreement to all of its facilities (French and English) and to sign a five (5) year agreement (including options) for a value estimated at xxxx $.
Any firm wanting to present a file for this project must mention their interest at the latest on the XXX 2017 at noon local time in Montreal by depositing on Merx a summary file showing their aptitude to respond to the needs. CBC/Radio-Canada will then proceed to an evaluation of its file and while post an RFP if required.
Proponents may have queries, require further information or clarification. If so, or if there is any doubt about the meaning of any part of this NOTICE OF INTENT, questions must be submitted trough Merx no later than xxxx, Montreal local time.

Any firm wanting to present a proposal for this service must mention their interest at the latest on the October 11, 2017, at noon, Montreal local time, by depositing on Merx a proposal showing their aptitude to respond to the needs, including the financial offer. CBC/Radio-Canada will then proceed to an evaluation of its file. It is the responsibility of interested firms to ensure they provide all information in order for CBC/Radio-Canada to evaluate its proposal.
