Description

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking information and proposals for H.265 or High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) equipment for HD video content distribution and collection over satellite networks.

At this stage of the project, CBC/Radio-Canada would like to obtain information on the market in order to identify interested firms and find out what solutions are available. This document suggests terminology to describe high efficiency video coding requirements in vendor agnostic language.
