CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking Proposals from industry in response to its Request for Qualifications (“RFQ) for Decommissioning, Furniture Removal and Relocation Services.
1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:
The key objective in issuing this RFQ is as follows:
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking Qualifications to identify the successful proponent for the decommissioning and move out of the current Radio-Canada building at 1400 Boulevard René-Lévesque E, Montréal, QC H2L 2M2. The intent of this RFQ is to invite the interested suppliers for site visit and qualify them for the further provision of carrying out the relocation services. CBC/Radio – Canada is relocating to a new state of art purpose built facility across the street at Nouvelle Maison de Radio-Canada.
Our approach is to Remarket/ Reuse first and foremost, then Recycling and then the disposal as our last option.
2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:
This RFP is opened only to Proponents who meet each of the following mandatory requirements as evidenced in its written request for RFQ documents, after successful site visit.

- The proponent must provide evidence that your company has been in the similar services business for more than 5 years. The Proponent shall provide a list of references that meet the above requirements.

- Proponent shall provide a final report template with breakdown of each weight and cost for each group of items (reused/ sale, recycled, disposed) along with landfill diversions, CO2 Calculation, charitable donations.

- Proponent shall provide a description of strategy used for similar decommissioning / relocation services.

- Proponent shall comply ISO 14001 accredited Environmental Management System
3. TO REQUEST THE RFP DOCUMENTATION
As CBC/Radio-Canada uses Merx (
www.merx.com/cbc/radio-canada) to manage its solicitation process, all Proponents must obtain the RFQ documents through Merx. Here is the link to the Merx Quick Get Started Steps

To obtain the RFQ Documentation, Proponents must submit their intent to participate in the
site visit event by
7th July, 2019. Upon successful completion of site visit from
8th July till 12th July , 2019 proponent must submit
Qualification Request form completed and signed by a duly authorized representative confirming that the Proponent meets all the Mandatory requirements described in Section 2 above.
The document(s) to be completed and signed must be submitted no later than
16th Jul, 2019 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative for this RFP (see item 4 below for co-ordinates).
Following receipt of the required document(s) and CBC/Radio-Canada’s positive assessment of your company’s submissions, you will receive an e-mail from Merx that that you are invited to participate in further RFQ process
no earlier than, 17st July 2019.

4. COMMUNICATION WITH CBC/RADIO-CANADA
Any contact with CBC/Radio-Canada at this stage of the RFQ must be undertaken by e-mail only, which will be addressed to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative for this RFP, whose co-ordinates appear below. All e-mails pertaining to this RFQ must state the RFQ reference number (RFP # RE20190625) in the “Subject” of the e-mail.

Proponents may have queries, require further information or clarification, or discover certain omissions or ambiguities in the RFQ documents. If so, or if there is any doubt about the meaning of any part of this RFP, questions must be submitted in writing by Merx as defined in
PART I: INTRODUCTION , Table 1: critical dates of the RFQ process.
5. RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Qualifications must be received by CBC/Radio-Canada, via electronic submission to the Merx Website (www.merx.com) no later than 16th July 2019 at 8:00:00 pm, Eastern Time.
The Proponent has the sole responsibility for the timely receipt of a Qualification by CBC/Radio-Canada. The Proponent cannot transfer such responsibility to CBC/Radio-Canada. The MERX clock shall be used to determine the time of receipt of the qualification, whether the time indicated on such clock is accurate or not.
Partial Qualifications, amendments or revisions which are received after the date and time for the RFQ Submission Closing Date will not be accepted.
Note:
CBC/Radio-Canada retains the right to negotiate with Proponents on any procurement.
