Description

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL REQUIREMENTS AND DATES.

1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED SERVICES:

This Request for Supply Arrangements aims to qualify firms for digitizing services for CBC/Radio-Canada’s French Services. The mandates arising from this RFSA will be detailed during the Requests for Services.
This Request for Supply Arrangements excludes digitization of audio, video and films.

The Interested Proponents may apply for one or more of the following categories:

The Collection of the Photo Library:
1. negative positive, black and white and color,
2. black and white and color proofs,

Extraordinary documents (example Internal journal, Scrap book, plans, etc.)

Microfiche

Paper files (small lots on request)

Proponents must specify the categories for which they wish to submit an offer. Once selected, Suppliers will receive Requests for services specifying the nature and details of projects requiring their participation, including but not limited to:

Expected results;
Deliverables;
Proposed schedule for the realization of the mandate.

The Agreement resulting from this RFSA shall be for three (3) years with two (2) irrevocable option(s) for CBC/Radio-Canada to extend for two (2) years period(s).

2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:
This RFSA is open only to Proponents who meet each of the following mandatory requirements:

Years in Business
The Proponent MUST be in business for at least five (5) year.

Mandates of Similar Nature
The Proponent should have realized a minimum of three (3) mandates of a similar nature during the past five (5) years, for goods or services of a similar nature to those required in order to demonstrate its ability to honor an agreement with CBC / Radio-Canada.

3. CONFERENCE CALL (optional)
An optional Conference Call will be held November 16, 2016, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Savings Time. Contact us by email at appro.cbc.src@radio-canada.ca to obtain an access code and the time of the call.
The access code will allow you to identify yourself anonymously when taking the attendance.

4. TO REQUEST THE RFSA DOCUMENTATION
To obtain the RFSA Documentation, Proponent must submit a written statement signed by a duly authorized representative confirming that the Proponent meets all the Mandatory requirements described in Section 2 above. The documents to be completed are available on Merx and must be send, to the attention of the CBC/Radio-Canada representative for this RFSA.

5. COMMUNICATION WITH CBC/RADIO-CANADA
All questions must be submitted thru the Merx platform, before the date specified at section: PART I: INTRODUCTION Table 1: Critical Dates in the RFSA Process

6. RECEIPT OF OFFERS
Offers in response to this RFSA are due no later November 29, 2016, at 2:00 p.m, Eastern Saving Time. The Proponent has the sole responsibility for the timely receipt of an Offer by CBC/Radio-Canada. The Proponent cannot transfer such responsibility to CBC/Radio-Canada. The MERX clock shall be used to determine the time of receipt of the Offer, whether the time indicated on such clock is accurate or not. Partial Offers, amendments or revisions which are received after the date and time for the RFSA Submission Closing Date will not be accepted.
