RFP FIN 20160922 – CBC Radio Canada 2017-18 Hotel Program

CBC Radio Canada is seeking proposals for the 2017-18 two-year hotel program with two(2) options to renew of one(1) year each.

To receive CBC Radio Canada’s Request for Proposal (RFP), you must meet the following mandatory requirement:

Proposed hotel properties must be a 2-year agreement. CBC Radio Canada will consider a rate for year 1 (2017) and a rate for year 2 (2018), if different.

Canadian Cities: British Columbia (Vancouver; Victoria), Alberta ( Calgary; Edmonton), Saskatchewan (Saskatoon; Regina), Manitoba (Winnipeg), Ontario (London; Ottawa; Sudbury; Toronto-downtown; Windsor), Quebec (Montreal-downtown; Quebec City; Trois Rivieres; Rimouski; Rouyn-Noranda; Saguenay; Sherbrooke; Sept Iles), New Brunswick (Fredericton; Moncton; Saint John), Nova Scotia (Halifax; Sydney), Prince Edward Island (Charlottetown), Newfoundland (St. John’s), Yukon (Whitehorse), Northwest Territories (Yellowknife) and Nunavut (Iqaluit).

Proposed hotel properties shall have the CBC/Radio-Canada four main television (2 National television Networks- English Network and French Television and two self-supporting specialty cable television, CBC Newsworld in English and Le Réseau de l'information (RDI) in French. This mandatory requirement is only applicable to proposed properties below the 55 degree parallel.

Proposed hotel properties must be Last Room Availability (LRA).

Proposed hotel properties must be within the established distances from the applicable CBC Radio Canada offices as identified in tables below.

In order to be granted access to the RFP documents, you are required to send an email to jayne.macdonald@hrgworldwide.com with reference # FIN 20160922. CBC /Radio-Canada has commissioned Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) to manage the RFP process. This email should include hotel properties, addresses and confirmation that these properties meet the mandatory requirements.
