Equipment Moving Services
Introduction
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) is a Crown corporation with headquarters in Ottawa and is responsible for the delivery of consistent, effective and efficient screening of passengers and non-passengers in designated airports.

Objective
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) has a requirement to procure Transportation Services for an initial term of five years and two additional one year option terms as further described in Schedule “A” (Statement of Work). The services include loading, transportation, and unloading, of security screening equipment and related products between various airports or other locations across Canada.
The equipment may be shipped using Full Truck Load (“FTL”) or Less Than Truckload (“LTL”) services as required. The equipment being shipped may include High Value Products, such as X-Ray and Computed Tomography (“CT”) Scanners (ranging in weight from 1,000lbs to 10,000lbs), and Explosive Trace Detection (“ETD”) equipment, as well as standard related equipment including, but not limited to, roller conveyers, roller tables, stainless steel tables and/or any other related security screening equipment. A limited amount of shipments may include electronic equipment that contains radioactive material which is classified as Dangerous Goods, Class 7, or other Dangerous Goods as identified at the time of order.
Financial Evaluation
The RFP contains all the detailed financial offer requirements.
Contractor Selection
CATSA intends to recommend one bidder for award of a contract based on the methodology outlined in the RFP.
