The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select a service provider for the distribution of COVID-19 Rapid Tests for Community Groups. CRC is looking at implementing a 6 month term agreement with the selected vendor.
The Rapid Screening Testing Program aims at sending regular small parcel shipments of testing supplies to up to 1,000 local organisations across provinces and territories, over a period of 6 months.
The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to identify a vendor that will provide the best overall value to CRC. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of the award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Criteria, below.
As set out in more detail below, this RFP seeks the following information:
- Cost information for services and cost containment/reduction strategies.
Ideas and suggestions to optimize the customer service experience.
NOTE: Please note that in order to be considered for this RFP, Bidders must demonstrate they have a distribution hub in GTA with a secondary optional hub in Western Canada if required.
