6132354004211 - Videos for Youth - Apprentice Demand Labour Market Information

From 2018 to 2021, CAF-FCA requires the production of six videos.  An English and French video will be produced in 2019, 2020 and 2021.  Here are the requirements: 
 

• Each video will be up to 5 minutes in length. 
• The look and feel of the videos must align with the Careers in Trades website. 
• The videos must be geared towards a youth audience.  The content will focus on hiring opportunities in apprenticeship and the skilled trades. Employer expectations and what youth need to do to prepare for apprenticeships will be communicated.  CAF-FCA will be responsible for writing and translating the script.  The contractor will have an opportunity to review the script and make suggestions based on the creative concept. 
• The contractor will provide three creative concepts for the videos so CAF-FCA may choose its preferred option.  The video may be animated or it may include interviews.  There is no additional budget for filming interviews.  All work must be completed within the current budget.
• Any pictures must include a diverse range of individuals, including men, women, Indigenous peoples and visible minorities.   
• A custom illustration style should be developed for the videos. 
• The contractor must provide a story board with the main graphic frames and voice over text for CAF-FCA to review.
• CAF-FCA may make two rounds of changes to the video.
• Once the English video is finalized, a French video must be produced.   The contractor should be prepared to adjust the timing and graphics of the video to accommodate the French.
