Description

The overall objective of the project is to develop a national agriculture and food workforce strategy.
The research described in this Request for Proposals (RFP) will inform the development of the workforce strategy. It will investigate the complexities of hiring labour outside of Canada. This work will develop strategies that could be implemented to address barriers, including perceptions, to recognizing the importance of foreign workers and should lead to actionable solutions that address the workforce challenges Canada’s agriculture and food and beverage manufacturing sectors face in this chronic labor crisis.
