BACKGROUND
The Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council addresses human resource issues facing agriculture businesses in Canada. Its objectives are to support an adequate, reliable, and well-trained work force that will strengthen the ability of the farm community to thrive and be successful in an internationally competitive marketplace. The Council’s efforts are collaborative and involve the participation of agricultural leaders, governments and educational stakeholders to research, develop and implement solutions to challenges in employment and skills development in primary agriculture. It is recognized as the centre for reliable labour market information, and the access point for customizable solutions related to HR management and training. REQUEST FOR STANDING OFFER
The Council is soliciting proposals from service providers to provide interpretation services for our organization. The purpose of this RFSO is to select suitable contractor(s) and establish a Standing Offer Agreement with the successful bidder(s) for the provision of services.
Experience within the Agriculture sector is an asset.
THE WORK
Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and during the timeline outlined below, the service provider may be engaged to provide services for one or multiple projects, as necessary.
The Council is currently seeking an Interpreter to provide services in both official languages. The successful service provider may carry out the activities during events such as:
- Strategic Steering Committee / Board meetings
- Advisory group meetings
- Summits
- Roundtables
- Teleconferences
TERM
The term of the mandate will be for a period of two years, from December 2022 to December 2024 with an option to extend.
GUIDELINES
If you are qualified, please submit a proposal that demonstrates your understanding of the requirement and your experience in providing interpretation services required by the Council. Your submission should include a description of your qualifications and experience, and a pricing structure outlining your rates. Please identify three references and provide contact information to support our review of the quality and professionalism of your services.
