Description

Ingenium wishes to engage a specialized library/archival moving company to successfully move
fragile archival materials, 2D artifacts, corporate records, and library books and journals into the
C3 building (see Appendix A for specific details on each collection).

The key objective of this move is to ensure that irreplaceable documents, books, maps,
photographs, personnel and financial records are properly handled, secured and protected
during loading, transportation, unloading and final placement, so that their condition,
contents, and heritage value is maintained throughout the move activities.

A (Mandatory) site visit shall be held on Monday March 4, 2019 at 1:30PM local time in
order that Bidders fully satisfy themselves with regards to the scope of work and existing site
conditions.
Where: LOCATION Canada Science & Technology Museum Site
Meet in front of: 2421 Lancaster Road (Door N-2)
Ottawa, ON K1B 4L5 by 1:20PM for sign-in
Individuals attending this meeting are required to bring Proper Personal Protection
Equipment: CSA certified steel toe boots, goggles, hard hat, vest.
All Bidders MUST attend this VISIT to be eligible to submit a Bid. All Bidders will be
required to sign in as proof of attendance.
At the Site Visit/Job Showing, Bidders will be shown the extent / requirements of the Work
covered under this ITT.
Bidders should communicate by e-mail at bids@ingeniumCanada.org to confirm
attendance before: March 4, 2019 at 10:00AM
