Canada Post Corporation (“CPC) is requesting information to explore the feasibility and viability of implementing an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology solution (referred to as "the Solution" henceforth) for the efficient capture of product and address information for Lettermail™ and Packet™ items that must be sorted manually in CPC’s processing facilities. The Solution must comply with all electrical and safety standards applicable in Canada.
