GSCG191225 - Design-Build Construction for a new Facility in the Greater Toronto Area

Canada Post Corporation is planning to build a new Parcel Processing Plant in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, using the Design-Build project delivery method. The plant will be approximately 585,000 square feet (54,348 m2).    It is the intent of this RFP to select one Proposer to enter into a contract for the design and build of the new parcel processing plant and coordinate the installation of parcel processing equipment during construction of the plant.  It is expected that the construction of the new facility will achieve Substantial Performance by May 2022.

La Société Canadienne des Postes planifie de construire une nouvelle usine de traitement des colis dans le Grand Toronto Ontario en utilisant la méthode de conception-construction de projet. La grandeur de l’usine sera approximativement 585,000 pied carré (54,348 M2). C’est l’intention de la demande de proposition de sélectionner un proposant à entrer dans un contract pour la conception et la construction de la nouvelle usine de traitement des colis et de coordonner l’installation de équipement de traitement des colis pendant la construction de l’usine. Il est prévu que la construction de la nouvelle installation atteindra un rendement substantiel d’ici mai 2022.
