Description

This request for proposal (RFP) invites program evaluation firms and consultants with expertise in program evaluation in the arts and culture to submit proposals to provide evaluation services to the Canada Council for the Arts. The Canada Council wishes to undertake a comprehensive program evaluation of the Governor General's Literary Awards (GGLA) to assess the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of the awards and to provide recommendations for improvement.
The Council will undertake a program evaluation of the GGLA, a prize awarded annually to books in seven categories, in both Official Languages. The Council administers and funds the GGLA through its parliamentary appropriation. The program evaluation should follow the Council's Evaluation Policy and lead to recommendations for management consideration.
