Description

This project includes landscape improvements along a multi-use trail running parallel to and south of Unwin Avenue between Cherry Street and Regatta Road in Toronto’s Port Lands . The subject area is approximately 13,000 m2 in size and located on land that is owned by the City of Toronto Economic Development Company (TEDCO; c.o.b. as Toronto Port Lands Company (TPLC)) and/or the City of Toronto. The site is partially within a Ravine and Natural Feature Protection area and includes dense vegetation, large trees, and a disused rail line. The new multi-use trail connects Cherry Street to the Martin Goodman Trail at the Cherry Beach Sports Field parking lot.
