Good afternoon,
As you know, Bruce Power is embarking on a major component replacement (MCR) program of six of the eight nuclear reactors at its Tiverton site, commencing with the MCR for Unit 6. The scope for the Unit 6 MCR has been broken into several sub-scopes. The key execution sub scopes comprise (1) a bundling of Bulkheads, Primary Heat Transport, Moderator Drain and Dry & Vault HVAC execution; (2) the Detube/Retube/Feeder replacement scope and (3) Construction Support Services (which includes waste management, radiation protection, scaffolding and other construction support services, among others).
In advance of requests for proposals with respect to these scopes, to be issued in the coming weeks, we are pleased to invite you to express interest, as a potential partner for these scopes – either in a prime or sub role, in participating in this information session in Kincardine on Thursday, September 28th, at 1:00 pm. Please email your expressed interest to supplierforum@brucepower.com, by 5 P.M. E.S.T., Monday, September 25, 2017, and we will confirm back by 5P.M. E.S.T. to those suppliers we are able to accommodate. Given the limited space, participants will be limited to a maximum of two (2) attendees.
