Description

The intent of this project is to demolish a 12,537 s.f. building B15901 OPP South Porcupine District Headquarters. The project includes the complete deconstruction, decommissioning, demolition, and disposal of the building and foundation in its entirety. Remove and dispose all designated substances prior to demolition. Backfill the building footprint and any voids. Compacted gravel will be the final finish for the area. Underground services to be disconnected, terminated, and capped as appropriate. Waste disposal shall follow current industry protocol and best practices. Soils to be removed from site shall be tested first for contaminants. All work to conform to applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws.

All demolition work to be completed in accordance with all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws, including but not limited to: Municipal Demolition Permit Standards, Class Environmental Assessment and MTCS Standards and Guidelines for Conversation of Provincial Heritage Properties.
