The work to be completed as a part of this tender package includes but is not limited to the retrofit of the fire alarm system, upgrades to the fire pump system including emergency power, upgrades to the buildings door holders, modification to the existing water mains, replacement of a kitchen hood extinguishing system, installation of an atrium air sampling system, replacement of fan damper monitors and actuators, etc.

Description of scope of work for Fire pump retrofit:
- Modify part of the existing fire protection water main.
- Supply, install, test and commission the replacement of the existing standpipe system fire pump for the complex at 200 First Avenue West.
- Install a new fire pump test header.
- Supply, install and modify the existing fire suppression system and incoming header.
- Complete electrical modifications to the new fire pump system as shown on the electrical fire pump upgrade drawings for 200 First Avenue West.
- Complete Generator load tests as required in the drawings and specification.
Review the fire pump mechanical and electrical drawings for complete scope of work and specification.
- TBS Clearances are required for site access
- Contractor is required to complete the CMMS forms as per Infrastructure Ontario Design & Commissioning Guidelines (Attached).
- For all Power Interruptions, Contractor is required to Complete the CRFC forms as per Infrastructure Ontario Guidelines. This must be submitted with a complete Method of Procedure. Power Shutdown/Interruption approval time is a minimum of 20 business days.
