BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada LP (BGIS) on behalf of the Infrastructure Ontario Corporation is inviting Consultant firms to submit proposals to provide professional services as detailed in BGIS’s Request for Proposal.

BGIS requires the services of a qualified Consultant for the following project and scope of services:
Description of Project:
A consultant will be hired to complete designs for the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for the attached Appendix A Spreadsheet from the AGE Study and the list of Appendix B sites. The Consultant will design and oversee the installation of a total of 100 charging points selected by the consultant and approved by stakeholders (IO & CBRE). The installations, will complete as many level two charge point installations as the budget allows (Level one charge points to be installed to meet the 100 charge point objective, while remaining within budgetary requirements).

Description of Services
The successful consultant is required to provide/comply with the following:

Site access visits to be coordinated with the site and CBRE FM and/or Technician and/or building occupants.
Work may occur outside of business hours.
Access to the building should remain available all the times.
For all Power Interruptions, Consultant is required to complete the CRFC forms as per Infrastructure Ontario Guidelines. This must be submitted with a complete Method of Procedure. Power Shutdown/Interruption approval time is a minimum of 20 business days.

Project Deliverables
As per IO and BGIS policy, the Tender Documents are prohibited from containing any reference to brand names, product names, product numbers, etc. The consultant is required to include references to performance criteria only, unless stated otherwise within the IO Design Guidelines. Exemptions must be pre-approved by the BGIS project manager and may include items which are required to be named out of necessity of compatibility with existing equipment.

The Consultant shall prepare the deliverables in accordance with the Bid Document requirements. All text reports & the requested design submissions will be provided in 8 ½ x 11 page size format.

A mandatory teleconference call and briefing will be held at 11:00:00 on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 to discuss issues related to the RFP. (Failure to attend and register may/will result in disqualification).
Proposals will be received no later than 14:00:00 local time on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018. Late or misdirected proposals will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
