BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada LP (BGIS) on behalf of the Infrastructure Ontario Corporation is inviting Consultant firms to submit proposals to provide professional services as detailed in BGIS’s Request for Proposal.

BGIS requires the services of a qualified Consultant for the following project and scope of services:
Description of Project
The purpose of the project is to accommodate 2 new Crown appointments in support of the Jordan initiative to reduce time to trial.
Due to space constraints extensive retrofit and size reductions of existing offices will be required to create 2 new office spaces within the existing footprint.
Full design and project management services are required.
Scope to include but not be limited to: mechanical, electrical, walls, paint, flooring, data/phone drops, and all new furniture.
The Project will be delivered in 2 phases, allow for the coordination of moving services
Physical sample boards are required.
All IT work to be coordinated with Ministry personnel. Ministry conceptual design and architectural standards will be made available to the consultant.
Description of Services
The successful consultant is required to provide/comply with the following:
- Site access visits to be coordinated with the site and CBRE FM and/or Technician and/or building occupants.
- Work will occur outside of business hours only.
- Access to the building should remain available all the times.
Project Deliverables
As per IO and BGIS policy, the Tender Documents are prohibited from containing any reference to brand names, product names, product numbers, etc. The consultant is required to include references to performance criteria only, unless stated otherwise within the IO Design Guidelines. Exemptions must be pre-approved by the BGIS project manager and may include items which are required to be named out of necessity of compatibility with existing equipment.
- Upon substantial completion, the Consultant shall forward to the Contractor the completed and signed Form 6 (Substantial Performance Certificate). The Form 6 is to be submitted no later than three (3) business days following Substantial Completion.
- At the time of Substantial Completion, the consultant is responsible to obtain one (1) hardcopy & two (2) electronic copies of the Operations & Maintenance Manuals from the General Contractor. They are to be reviewed & approved by the consultant and submitted to BGIS along with one (1) hardcopy set of record drawings plus two (2) editable electronic CAD files in accordance with “IO CAD Standards” on a portable electronic memory device. The consultant shall provide documentary proof to BGIS that the drawings were completed in accordance with IO CAD Standards
- All Operations & Maintenance manuals are required to be compliant with the current IO Design & Commissioning Guidelines (Refer to Schedule B of the 2017 IO Building Systems Commissioning Guideline).

A mandatory site visit and briefing will be held at 1:00:00 PM EST on January 10th, 2018 at 155 Elm Street, Sudbury, ON to discuss issues related to the RFP. (Failure to attend and register may/will result in disqualification).
Proposals will be received no later than 14:00:00 local time on Tuesday, January 18th, 2018. Late or misdirected proposals will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
