1. Summary
BDC Capital is the largest venture capital partner organization in Canada with $2B of assets under management. Through its Canadian economic growth mission, BDC Capital is proud to collaborate with Canadian enterprises to contribute to their development and competitiveness across the globe.

BDC Capital seeks to refresh its Portfolio Management system in order to monitor direct and indirect portfolios and fund investment portfolios, track underlying portfolio companies, perform data validation and analytics.

Fully embracing the movement to the cloud, BDC Capital is looking for an innovative SaaS solution encompassing the latest productivity functionalities to enhance visibility and foster data exchange while maintaining privileged information restricted to the users or groups it is intended to.

The BDC Capital workforce is currently comprised of 60 dedicated specialists of which 12 are anticipated using the portfolio monitoring solution. The following list represents an overview of the goals BDC Capital is looking to achieve with its new Portfolio Management solution:

Automate data gathering
Reduce data entry overhead
Segment data access by business unit
Augment investments KPI monitoring capability
Introduce mobile device capabilities to the workforce
Allow easy upper management oversight of selected data
Enforce data quality control through flexible custom policies
Provide a centralized data management solution across BDC Capital teams
Generate modern dashboards and reports with drill through capability
Extract unforeseen insights through modern technique like machine learning
Improve efficiency through new modern UI, task automation and enhanced information visibility.

2. Term of Agreement
BDC is contemplating entering into a 3-year agreement with the selected bidder, with two potential additional 1-year renewals (herein the “Term of agreement”).

3. Multiple services
BDC will not accept partial proposals. Bidder’s Proposal shall address all services and product(s) required by BDC.
