The Town of Bancroft is seeking proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide a cost estimate of professional engineering services to:
1. COMPLETE A DETAILED DESIGN FOR THE PROJECT
Detailed project design for the rehabilitation of Highway 62 N (Hastings St. N.) to be completed in 2020 which will include: surveying, rehabilitation of the existing asphalt, complete grading and drainage re construction, traffic signal improvements, intersection improvements, assessment of the water and waste/water infrastructure, new stormwater install north end of construction, culvert replacement.
2. PROVIDE CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMPLETE REHABILITATION OF A SECTION OF HIGHWAY 62N (HASTINGS ST. N)
Full contract administration for the construction to be completed in 2021. This will include: pre- construction surveying and layout, building of the Tender for construction, working with Town staff to review submitted tender documents and assisting Town staff in recommending the preferred bidder to Council for approval. Include all work as referred to in the scope of work with all inspections to be managed and verified by the engineering firm while construction is being completed to ensure the tender document is being followed. This includes, but is not limited to: responsibility for all utilities and services locates, ensuring that dates and deadlines for the completion of work are adhered to, and ensuring that all work adheres to the budget set by the Town through the tender document.
