Description

The Town of Bancroft is seeking proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide a cost estimate of professional engineering services to:

COMPLETE A DETAILED DESIGN FOR THE PROJECT

Detailed project design for the rehabilitation of Highway 28/Monck Street and intersection improvements, which will include: surveying, rehabilitation of the existing asphalt, complete grading and drainage re construction, addition of two right hand turn lanes, removal of a curb and gutter island, assessment of the water and waste/water infrastructure and replacement of a section of watermain as shown in the map below.

PROVIDE CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMPLETE REHABILITATION OF A SECTION OF HIGHWAY 28

Contract administration for the construction to be completed in 2020. This will include: pre- construction surveying and layout, building of the Tender for construction, working with Town staff to review submitted tender documents and assisting Town staff in recommending the preferred bidder to Council for approval. Also includes contract administration while construction is being completed to ensure the tender document is being followed. This includes, but is not limited to: responsibility for all utilities and services locates, ensuring that dates and deadlines for the completion of work are adhered to, and ensuring that all work adheres to the budget set by the Town through the tender document.
