This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision for Relocation (Furniture Moving) Services to carry out the continuous relocation and rearrangement of furniture, fixtures and equipment resulting from the constant evolution of the College’s (“the Purchaser”) programs and activities. The work is required primarily at the Woodroffe Campus in Ottawa, Ontario and occasionally at the Perth and Pembroke campuses.
Vendor shall supply all supervision, qualified labour, tools, equipment, (Vendor is not permitted to use Algonquin College tools or equipment) vehicles, materials, temporary storage space and insurance necessary to provide Services which include but are not limited to:
- Relocation of office, classroom, laboratory and related furniture and equipment
- Disassembly and reassembly of systems furniture, mainly Teknion brand
- Temporary bonded storage of furniture and equipment
- Set-ups in cafeteria (evenings and weekend hours) for events and functions
- Deposit designated materials at recycling collection areas on campus (wood, metal)
