RFP 2019-07 – Digital Card Solution

Description:
The AGO requires the services of an organization that has the ability to issue and manage digital membership cards.

Functional requirements include:

Manage a high volume of digital passes with no down time (minimum of 150,000 passes)
A connection with our in-house systems through a robust API allowing for live delivery of passes
- data will come from 2 separate SQL databases
- data on the digital card will be specified/supplied by the AGO through the API
- technical assistance with API implementation
Delivery of cards to Apple Wallet and Google Pay (i.e. cards cannot be dependent on a third-party app installed on user devices, it must work with the native wallet on the device)
Multiple card types/look and the ability to design/change the look of the card
Push out offers to digital card holders through notifications
Configure to automatically push out renewal notices to digital card holders
Location-based push notifications to digital cardholder via beacons when in our environment (proximity-based notifications)
Change/edit card information and automatically push out to the digital card holder (e.g. expiry or membership type)
Able to accommodate multiple bar code formats: 2d, 3d, QR

Conditions for Participation and Requirements to Request to Participate:
Candidates will be firms or individuals that have been in business for a minimum of 1 year and have the systems and knowledge to handle a high volume (150,000 and higher) of digital cards on a daily/monthly basis. They should have a service level agreement that will support the AGO throughout the implementation and operational phase of this relationship. They must show an understanding of changing technology and have a willingness to adapt to new requirement and needs. Candidates must be willing to plan and execute all work in consultation and conjunction with designated AGO management.

Procurement Method:
Request for Proposals. The AGO reserves the right to negotiate. The AGO may request a Best and Final Offer (BAFO).
