Description

The WECHU, in collaboration with various other stakeholders, is working to establish a program where community members who use drugs will have an opportunity to consume them in a supervised environment and receive other health care and supports. This program will receive a federal government (Health Canada) exemption from the federal Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and meet Ontario government’s funding requirements for consumption and treatment services. For more information about Ontario’s requirements in this regard, please refer to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s, “Consumption and Treatment Services Application Guide."

The purpose of this REOI is to help:
 Identify potential locations in the City of Windsor for our CTS Site.
 Learn more about the optimal location and design attributes for our CTS Site.
