Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) issued by  the Facilities Management Department  of University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of the Supply and Delivery of Geothermal Heat Pump  as further described in Appendix A, for the Rates established in Appendix C.

1. The Respondent MUST have minimum two (2) years of related experience in any critical building installations such as a research laboratory, universities, data centre, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or healthcare in supplying Geothermal Heat Pumps in similar in size and scope to the requirements of this RFQ. Provide three (3) references – one of these references must be from an installing contractor and the remaining from owner or engineer.
2. The Respondent MUST have experience working in a building requiring continuous operation and no disruption to the occupied spaces during construction.
3. Respondent MUST have demonstrated experience in providing modular units to be shipped separately and assembled on site.
4. The Respondent MUST demonstrate from past project experience that they have supplied a unit greater than a total tonnage of 300 tons in a similar sized project.
5. The Respondent MUST be a representative for the manufacturer of Geothermal Heat Pumps or a manufacturer of the Geothermal Heat Pumps.
