DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Student Residence Centre Interior Renovations Project
This project involves the interior renovation of a number of spaces on the ground floor of the Student Residence Centre to better serve students and staff.
Design and Construction Management requires General Contracting services for the interior renovation of approximately 139 m2 of administrative and meeting space at the Student Residence Centre, University of Toronto Scarborough.

The procurement will not involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% on each of the rated criteria, category  1, 2 and 3 in the technical submission.  .       
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9]

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.

Milestone schedule:
The contractor shall commence work upon receipt of written notification of award and substantially complete by July 17th, 2020.  The contractor shall coordinate all work with the University.
Earliest Construction start date:        March 30th, 2020
Kick-off Meeting:                              March 23rd, 2020                               
Substantial Completion:                    July 17th, 2020                   
Deficiency Completion:                     July 31st, 2020
