DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Science Research Building Ground Floor Interior Retrofit
Design and Construction Management requires General Contracting services for the interior renovation of approximately 152 m2 office/lab spaces for the Department of Psychology on the ground floor of the Science Research Building.

Work included are as follows:

Demolition and removal of existing walls and associated mechanical and electrical infrastructure as required for the construction of new lab spaces.
Installation of new drywall, doors and frames, millwork (retrofit and/or new), lighting fixtures, power and data and HVAC.

The procurement will not involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% of each rated criteria category, 1 through 3.
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.
Milestone schedule:
Earliest project construction for general contractor: Week of June 22, 2020
Substantial completion by August 15, 2020
