DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
General Contracting services for the interior renovation of SW311 and BV355.

Phasing:

SW311 (Phase 1) is a decommissioned Anthropology Lab Space that is to be retrofitted to an active learning classroom as part of this RFP.  Phase 1 will commence at the time of the contract award with substantial completion on August 15, 2020.

BV355 (Phase 2) currently serves as an instructional space with courses scheduled for 2020 Winter semester.  The RFP requires the room to be retrofitted and connected to the adjacent accessibility testing center via an opening in the existing concrete block wall.  Construction cannot start until after the last day of winter exams, April 25th 2020, with the anticipated substantial completion on August 15th, 2020.

An electronic auction is not anticipated.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% of each rated criteria category, 1 through 3.
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.
Milestone schedule:
Earliest project construction for general contractor:  March 24, 2020
Substantial completion by August 15, 2020.
