DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting a Request for Proposal on behalf of Facilities Management Department who requires general contracting to oversee and manage relocation of Portable 102 from Science Wing field to behind Social Sciences Building.  General Contractor will be responsible to hire consultants to prepare architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical and communication drawings to relocate the Portable; to submit permits and approvals to City; dismantle and reassemble in new location.  The procurement may involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:
Attend Proponents Site Meeting, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.   Pass / Fail
Proponents to refer to Schedule E Draft Agreement and Schedules to Draft Agreement, Attachment 2 Supplementary Conditions to the Stipulated Priced Contract (CCDC2 – 2008), SC # 53 for details regarding the University of Toronto Union Requirements.

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase.
Milestone schedule:
RFP Issue:                                                            May 22, 2019
Proponent meeting:                                            May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
RFP Close:                                                           June 6, 2019
Project to commence:                                        As soon as possible after award.                     
Dismantling to begin                                           July 18, 2019
Substantial completion                                       August 12, 2019


EVALUATION CRITERIA
The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:
Experience and Qualifications (30%)
Delivery and Lead-time (10%)
Pricing (60%)
Proponents’ attendance at meeting and site visit               Pass / Fail
Surety Agreement re 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and  Materials Bond     Pass / Fail                                            
Completed Contractors Safety Acknowledgement Form      Pass / Fail
Proof of Insurance                             Pass / Fail
WSIB Certificate                                  Pass / Fail
